Location: Based in Houston. Up to 70% travel required.
Reports to: Deputy Director
Full-Time/Part-Time: Up to 40 Hours/Week
Exempt/ Non-Exempt: Contract
Pay: $24-$30/ Hour, Depending on Experience
Contract Length: Approximately 18 Months

Position Overview
The Program Manager will oversee the day-to-day implementation of an intervention that supports participants through cohort-based learning, retreats, and technical assistance. This role is responsible for coordinating program logistics, engaging with participants, facilitating communication across cohorts, and ensuring that program deliverables and milestones are successfully met.
The Program Manager will work closely with the Deputy Director and organizational leadership through regular meetings, coaching sessions, and feedback processes to ensure strong program implementation and continuous improvement.
This position is ideal for a highly organized, self-directed professional who is passionate about community impact and experienced in working with marginalized communities. The successful candidate will bring strong administrative, facilitation, and evaluation skills to support program success.

Required Experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in nonprofit, research, or community-based work.
- Experience implementing or supporting program interventions.
- Experience with program evaluation, reporting, and data-informed decision-making.

Program Coordination
Managing and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the intervention program, Tracking program milestones and ensuring deliverables and timelines are met, Participating in weekly meetings with the Deputy Director to review progress and priorities, and Engaging in coaching and feedback sessions to support program improvement.
Retreat and Event Logistics
Coordinating logistics for program retreats and related events, Managing scheduling, materials, participant communication, and on-site coordination, and Ensuring retreats and events run smoothly and align with program goals.
Outreach and Recruitment
Conducting outreach to identify and engage potential program applicants, Supporting recruitment and selection processes, and Maintaining communication with prospective and current cohort members.
Participant Support and Technical Assistance
Providing one-on-one and group technical assistance to cohort participants, Facilitating conversations that support participant learning, reflection, and progress, and Ensuring participants receive the resources and guidance needed to meet program expectations.
Documentation and Reporting
Taking detailed notes during meetings, technical assistance sessions, and retreats, Compiling and organizing documentation for internal use and reporting purposes, and Supporting reporting and evaluation processes through data collection and documentation.
Feedback and Continuous Learning
Gathering participant feedback to inform program improvements, Contributing to internal learning and program refinement, and Supporting data-driven decision-making and evaluation efforts.
